Generating invoices and recording payments can take a lot of time away from valuable business goals. My review of the MiniBooks iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch App shows you how to simplify your invoicing process, ensure that you never forget to record a payment and give customers the ability to see how much they owe you in real-time.
One of the most challenging obstacles that businesses face is how to deliver invoices to clients without incurring hours of balance book accounting. Often, small businesses or medium sized businesses that have grown quickly rely on archaic methods such as Microsoft Excel invoice templates to generate invoices. Worse yet, some businesses assume that they need to hire an expensive Accountant to preform simple tasks to create their invoices and record them properly.
Web based software FreshBooks solves these problems. It is a highly regarded online invoicing and basic accounting app. Businesses can easily input line items and connect them to clients to generate a full invoice. Customers can receive invoices generated in FreshBooks via e-mail, unique web login, or traditionally, printed on paper. FreshBooks has been exceptionally well reviewed online. A quick search on Google for “FreshBooks Review” will return a variety of unbiased and very positive reviews.
FreshBooks recently developed an API (application programming interface) with the hope that programmers and developers would integrate and extend their software into 3rd party applications. Groovy Squared, an iOS programming company took note of this addition and developed an exceptionally powerful add-on for FreshBooks.
Using MiniBooks in combination with FreshBooks, business owners, sales people and all-in-one CEO’s have full access to the features, functions and data contained in their FreshBooks account on their iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch. This is an exciting piece of software that has the capability to unteather accounting processes from the confines of the office and provide full on the go invoicing from any iOS device.
